The Journey to Realizing Her Love and Passion for Pop-Music and Film-Acting

How It All Started:

Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Uniquely Heather loved singing from the early age of 3 years old and knew she wanted to be a singer. She took her first choir class in 7th grade and continued choir all throughout high school and college. She attended the University of Arizona from 2006-2012 where she also began classical voice lessons. She graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies "Creating & Marketing Entertainment," which included many music classes, creative writing classes, marketing classes, and dance classes. After college, she made the transition from classical voice lessons to pop voice lessons. 

 

Throughout the course of her musical career, Uniquely Heather has been writing and recording her own songs. Her first original song 'Alone In The Night' is "hauntingly beautiful," said one of her fans. The song was written in 2006 and recorded in a professional studio in 2012. Then she wrote 'We Both Survived' in 2015 and recorded it in a studio in 2016.

Unlike singing, which she always knew she had a passion for since a very early age, she never knew she had a passion for acting until she abruptly discovered it one summer in 2018 when she took an acting class at Film Actor Workshops and suddenly fell in love with film-acting (not to be confused with stage acting or theater). Currently:

Currently, Uniquely Heather is working full-time at a non-music job while, on her free time, attending acting classes, recording new cover songs on YouTube, and writing more original songs.

Goals:

Her aim with music is to write songs that are... Meaningful, Relatable, Inspiring, and Catchy. 

And her aim with film is to portray... a variety of different characters and emotions.
